Abstract

In an era marked by speed and constant change, it is essential to adopt an integrative and interdisciplinary approach in all fields of knowledge, especially in underrepresented areas of health sciences, where rehabilitation is no exception. With the increasing complexity of medical challenges and the varied needs of patients, it is no longer sufficient to approach rehabilitation from a single angle. Hence the importance of our journal, Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation / Rehabilitación Interdisciplinaria.
The journal arises as a response to the imperative of unifying different disciplines, both in research and clinical practice. In our pages, we explore everything from physical rehabilitation techniques to the emotions evoked through music therapy. We discuss the profound psychological impact that can accompany injury or illness and how these challenges can be mitigated. We delve into the miracles of neuroplasticity and how, through neurological rehabilitation, brain connections can be reestablished and reconfigured. We also dive into the world of sports, offering solutions to recover our athletes and enable them to perform at their best.
